8800GT heat issue (fan speed)
I saw this over at Anand's site: http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=40&threadid=2112226&FTVAR_STKEYWORDFRM=&STARTPAGE=7&FTVAR_FORUMVIEWTMP=Linear Apparently what they are saying is that the fan speed remains low while the temperatures can climb to ~100°C.

you can use ntune to adjust the fan speed i run mine at 57% stays at 60 c full load. had to up the fan speed after 4 hours of gaming it climbed to 75 c.
