Haven't posted in a while
Hey all. I haven't posted in a long time so I figured I'd give you all an update to whats going on in my life (if any of u would care to know ;)) I'll start with the most recent. I got married in September. The engagement was only about 10 months, and I'm glad it was that short. You really see the in-laws true colors when trying to plan a wedding. It was very difficult to have things done the way we wanted them. Eventually we had most things our way, but not without more effort than there really should have been. I considered a few times letting them have it, but I figured having them not hate me is probably for the better. So subtlety won out. The wedding turned out excellent and there were only minor problems. We went to Jamaica for 2 weeks at the Riu in Ocho Rios. It was a really nice trip. Everyone at the resort was very friendly and the beach was awesome. We climber Dunn River Falls which was fun, but a little bit too organized for me. They had everyone hold hands while climing up the rocks and it made it difficult for me to keep my balance. The tour guides were helpful though. I'm used to finding waterfalls on my own and climbing up them with nobody around. This was a totally different experience. The resort was an all inclusive and the food was pretty good. We were definately ready to go home at the end of 2 weeks though. The day we were on the way home we stopped at the Miami airport. We ate at burger king and it was the best tasting burger i ever ate. Jamaicans make good jamaican food. But they really suck at making burgers and american food. I learned about 2 weeks ago that I'm going to be a father. Which apparently is still setting in because i reread that sentence and thought it was really odd. We can't be happier about it and I can't wait. Both my parents and hers were very excited. My parents didn't believe me when I told them and it took about 10 minutes of convincing. I guess thats what I get for always playing jokes on them (ie. calling from jamaica on the day we're supposed to come home and tell her I lost my passport. stringing her on for a few minutes before telling her I'm joking around). I had a motorcycle stolen about 1.5 years ago which at the time seemed very significant and I was really upset about. But compared to all the things that have happened in the last few months, that is nothing. I did get another motorcycle. Not nearly as fast as my old one which is for the better. I would have gotten in trouble with the old one, whether by the police or the ambulance. Well I suppose that about it. Sorry for the long read, it wasn't intended to be that long. So how many people remember me from the AGN days?
