Printer Options i need a "budget" printer for the office that won't cost too much. maybe around $75-$150.
it will mainly be used to print an address on envelopes itself (not a label), so preferably a printer that can take 10 or more envelopes at a time (#10 size). I looked at a couple so far but none really mention the specific capabilities of printing on envelopes.
i know the typical home printer can do this but I actually need to print around 500 addresses before wednesday and need a printer that won't have me feeding envelopes one at a time ;)
I use a Lexmark X8350, it has a loading tray that should hold at least 25 envelopes, and you can adjust the feeder to hold them.

I don't do many envelopes, but I love canon printers and the IP4200 should do a stack I think. Look it up online for the specs, my manual not handy. You might still find these on E-bay. I love mine, mostly got them for the disk printing mod so I could print CDs DVDs but use them for everything now.
Bottom tray and top feed both, load one paper type in each and switch on the fly as needed. Duplex printing, both sides of paper, prints out, feeds back in and prints other side, no more out of oder pages or flipping stacks.
Easy quick cheap refills using bulk ink also.
Look into the canon printers, best I have used in years for anything and everything! If inkjet works for you Canon may work out very well.
I "think" the IP4200 and such will load a small stack of envelopes in the top feed and bottom tray both. How it works with papers is when the top feed runs out it will automatically switch top bottom tray (if settings are to do it) so say 10 envelopes in top and 10 in bottom, you could print 20 before refilling. I do not know the limits and it may be well more than 10 each feed.
With various papers you can load one type top like plain paper, and cardstock or such in bottom, then on selection of paper type it switches to correct feed on it's own if you set it to.
I paid $40 each plus a bit for shipping for my 2 IP4200 printers, 2 for less than $100!!

thanks for the suggestions.
anyway i got the printer issue solved. now i need to figure out a quick and easy way to input the address and which program to use. for example MS Word has the Envelope & Labels printing option but it would obviously take a while to enter the address one at a time considering the fact that I have 500+ to enter :)
I currently have the address list as an excel sheet. Any suggestions on the easiest and fas-*test*-('") way to go about doing this?

how about using mailmerge in Word?

right.. thanks DaMaN.. im actually "playing" around with it right now trying to figure it out.
anyway it seems to be exactly what i need, now i just hope this printer doesn't explode from printing so much :)
