Quick Laucn / taskbar making me INSANE!!!!
XP Home: Normally the quick launch group sits right next to the start button. Open proggies retire to the middle and the clock etc. is on the right. My quick launch group is now no longer next to the start button and refuses to go there. I have locked an unlocked the taskbar, tried dragging and dropping etc. BTW, the proggies that used to go in the middle of the taskbar are now next to the start button and refuse to move. I don't know why, but this is making me nuts. Holiday stress? Any help is appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving to all. And Blade - Send me that bannana stuffing recipe...

Yeah, happens all the time. The problem is that once the quick launch is moved it's a little hard to move back. I have the same trouble with IE toolbars. Instead of moving the quick launch, try moving around the other part of the taskbar to the right of wherever the quick launch is now. Takes a bit of fiddling. If you really get frustrated, use system restore to get you back to a day before this happened.

u should get the double arrow { <--> } thingy once u have grabbed it @ the right spot, so u can drag it. i would also close out all open browser windows.
